Jaguar Visit

Ditto Maurice & Paul's comments.

Big thanks to Geoff ...............but how embarrassing for him that so few turned up. I set off at 9:00 this morning and Rock Connoll wasn't even on the list. I think some should be buying Geoff a few pints over the next few weeks.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was great to spend time with people who were genuinely enthusiastic about the product they were building. They were very justified in their enthusiasm as well. The bonded and riveted construction of the XK makes Porsches look decidedly archaic. I further think that, now Ford has dumped Aston Martin, much more will be made of the XK.......XKRR?.........XKGT?

The XK is a fabulous looking car and achieves a far better blend of opulence and sporty than Porsche do. With the new saloons just started, and about to come out, I have every confidence Porsche will not be as successful with the Panamera as they were with the Cayenne.

I can also confirm, from personal experience, that Jaguar dealerships are far nicer than OPC's.

Well worth the hassle of getting there, as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks again Geoff.
