Janspeed exhaust system for 944 turbo

I'm interested in having a full Janspeed system for stock, even if it goes in the garage roof for a few years while I wear out my current Dansk system.

They haven't responded yet. It might help if everyone who is genuinely looking to purchase one contacted them directly to confirm it's worth their while. I have been dealing with Niki at sales@janspeed.com
Thanks for all the interest, let's hope we can make some progress :)

I received a response, good news and bad. The bad is the oval tailpipe isn't available, only the twin 3" rounds. I have asked if an alternative oval could be substituted, so I'll see what they say when they respond.
The good news is they are still happy to go ahead with their offer and they sent a few prices.

Cut from their email;
Price wise is as follows, individual costs quoted:

S1:
S1 Adapter - SS514AP - 21.82
S1 De-Cat - SS514K - 252.23
Rear Silencer - SS514R - 462

S2:
S2 Adapter SS515AP - 21.54
S2 De-Cat - SS515K - 152.83
Rear Silencer - SS515R - 462

Prices quoted include VAT.
If we got a bulk order, we may be able to bring the price of the rear silencers and S1 De-cat down - the factory prefer to make a bulk order of these items.

S1 & S2? Doesn't fill me with confidence.
They explained that their "s1" is early 944 and "s2" is the later.
I've gone a bit cold on them after they insisted only twin round tailpipes are available, I just don't think they will look right.
I assumed others had gone cold on the idea as this thread went dead.

Off the top of my head series one and series two exhausts are similar (so 1982-1988 8v). 2.7l cars share their exhaust with the S and the S2 (strictly two different types: S and S2) and the Turbo is different again.

I was concerned by their s1/2 labelling too, so I confirmed with them a couple of times that it was for the turbo.

Far cheaper through ESS too Tony! I agree that a double pea shooter would be a deal breaker for me too.

Well I decided to do the unthinkable and go to my local powerflow centre. They have replaced my cat with a straight through silencer and I'm more than pleased with the results for £120. Spools up slightly earlier, pulls much cleaner above 5k to the redline, much more responsive to drive around town and has thankfully quietened my boomy back box slightly, not much but a little.
I will replace the whole system at some point but this has appeased me for this year :)
