January '11 Meet ?

Ops I meant the weekend of the 9th I misread the thread title and assumed you meant that weekend was sunday 11th. Rather than Jan '11. I'm back in plymouth and without WUF from the 10th onwards so can only make the first two weekends of Jan

Rutland - or somewhere else - I cant get over there beforehand like I could last year, is there anyone who can ?

Well shall we say Jan 30th and Rutland once more then ? Don't want to always end up in the same place as it can get a bit samey but guess this is only the second time and reasonably central.

Yes good idea - more fun in a convoy !

I'll be up for that. Try not to make it clash with autosport show as I guess there may be a few here heading over there..

Anybody found a 2-for-1 password for tickets yet?

Sorry if this is off topic - but there is a 3-for-2 offer and a £5 off for MSA licence holders.

Rutland is a bit of a trek for me - is anyone from the Southwest up for a January meet?

Could we have a North and a South meet at the same time [;)][;)]

Sadly its looking like my car will not be back from its turbo and bodywork fettling by this date now, so will either have to pass on it or turn up in my diesel powered company car and park in a secluded spot away from everyone else [&o]

Jon, my car is probably indirectly the cause of your delay as mine only made it into the body shop the week the snow started and I believe they are only just actually starting on it now. Sorry about that - still hoping I will get mine back in time for 30th, and hope to see you there even if you are in a diesel. If mine isn't back on the road by then I shall probably come along in my own grimy diesel repmobile so that you don't feel singled out!

I would support a delay until Feb as my car is currently on a sorn but likely to be taxed next month...

Grrr ! [;)]

Sounds like theres a big old backlog there down to the snow - perhaps we can start a new sub-section register of diesel repmobiles [:D]

We probably should. Mine's likely to be about 12 weeks, so definitely a no-show at the end of Jan. Still, by then it will be totally corrosion-free, properly painted, photographically documented and fit for another decade of whizzing about, so it's worth it in the long run.
