Hi Fen,Me and the Mrs really wanted an aircooled 911 again,we were going to go the 3.2 carrera route but i went and had a drive of a nice example and it was not "everday" enough,if you know what i mean, the C4 has air,ABS(the kids will be going in it),powersteeringand it looks great- still the old original shape, she loves white aswell. The GT3RS is good for trackdays,The turbo is running great used it all day today (got new headlights so i can see at night now!) ,It is a bit hard ridewise/noisewise for our 9 month old,our5 year old loves it.The C4 is coming next week really looking forward to it, any help with the" is that normal ?"questions i am bound to have will be greatly appreciated.[:)]

1990 GP White :thumbsup

I'll wave if I pass you. You'll recognise mine ... looks like yours :)

Hello Melv!Just thought it was good thing to have,i found the 3.2 locked its wheels easily and my Mrs is used to ABS[:D]

Much the same reasons I bought one then; 3.2s all seemed to be rusty, 993 is not "classic" 911 enough. Of course my GT3RS is still with its previous owner and my 944 has plenty of room in the engine bay to swing a spanner just now. And I don't have kids. Maybe not exactly the same reasons then, but I know what you mean.

Good luck Mark,

I have owned two 964's and they were my favorite, ended up regressing from the newer models back to them.

Hope you have great fun [:)]

Hi Mark,
Remember that my car is up for sale, if you are really missing having a 964.

Best wishes,

Cheers for the words of encouragement!!Picked it up today!![8D]Already done over half a tank of fuel, was very impressed with the car's performance, feels so solid buildwise, such a lovely noise, a really nice road car -was as steady as a rock in moderate rain on the motorway, the 4wd makes the car feel very balanced and i think is quite flattering to drive!,so far so good although i think the clutch may be past its best,(it feels quite heavy )Also the wheels need balancing, apart from that ,very pleased[:)][:)]

I will take some over the holiday, might need to engage brain to figure out how to attach them!![:D]

Thanks Ken, wish I had somewhere to put it. You can never have enough 911s in my view, and the missus is dead keen on the 964 shape (something to do with that being the car I had when we met).
