Just cleaned the old girl up

Can I just ask why your changing your variocam actuator solenoid. And will you have to re do the timing?.
 
Hi there, the seal in the centre is 'sweating' according to the tech I saw at the weekend. He said it's nothing to worry about, but I'm going to replace them both all the same.

According to him you just unplug the electrical conector to the solonoid / actuator, remove the two bolts, and replace the flage / seal over the top of it.

I'll post up some pictures and info when I have completed the job.
