Just got my new C2S and already thinking of some changes - Turbo S wing to go?

I have a COC on order but that can take 28 days apparently. I can't see anything out of the ordinary inside the car and I've really looked :) I noticed that it doesn't have the chrome rings around the dials like some cars and no small digital display within the rev counter like some (very late) 1997 cars - no bad thing as I don't think that bit of electronics has aged too well.

Sorry for the basic question but I'm no mechanic...it has exhaust tips (I think it's just the tips) which are highly polished and say 'styled by Gemballa' on them - do these add anything to the car or are they just supposed to look pretty?

If the bits are original, they are staying, agreed, and thank you.

Gemballa are aftermarket, there are prettier versions of tips available.

I hope the COC helps

Hi Jim
Lovelly motor. ??

We seem to have a lot in common with our cars. ??
Mine is also a 1997 C2S in metallic black and with a turbo rear wing, albeit the standard turbo not the 'S' wing. My interior is black leather, is yours the same? Looks it ??

I recently had mine valued by the POC with a concluding amount of 75k ??. Would you be willing to impart how much you paid for your 993 please? I ask this to in some way qualify my valuation. Feel free to PM me if you prefer.

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and I'll do my best to provide a reply. ??

Happy motoring! ??

Hello all,
I have the COC through and it lists the items I was able to check from your links - thank you for those Rich and Matthew. The COC only lists the options on the bonnet sticker, hard backed seats, raised brake light, tinted windscreen etc etc but no mention of any bodykit bits.

Matthew, I'd really like to find out more about the M211 option year you found too (where did you find all that info out about MY car?:)

No problem, happy to help Jim ??

You can also request A Certificate Of Authenticity from PCGB. It takes around 28 days after sending in the relevant form. This is a free service to POC members. ??

I am currently awaiting the arrival of mine ??

I got mine yesterday, and all it listed was the various options and nothing about this mysterious 'M211' option!
Jim
Ah that's what you meant by COC. :)

M211 sounds cool though ????

Ah - well done, thank you Rich.
I will have to put my lipstick in the little cubby hole in the dash.
I still can't decide whether I want to remove the wing or leave it - probably depends on how easy it is to do.
I did a few miles yesterday and the only issue I can foresee is how to keep the miles down..

No probs Jim.
To be honest I was surprised if was so easy to find the M codes.

I've just spent around two days washing, Cleansing and waxing mine ready for the winter, though mine lives in the garage anyway lol Back breaking work ??
