Is it having any impact on the road ? We already seem to be a target for every aggressive driver on the motorway, has it got any better or worse with the kit on ?
Thanks for the post - it looks better in the metal than in the photo's. I had the grills fitted as well to protect the engine/ radiators - they are in titanium and set back into the car so it really sets the kit off.
I hope you get to see it before my car gets vandalsied again
Having driven it back from Coventry I did notice that more drivers slow down to have a look as they go past - even other Porsches. it was in heavy rain so I always take it easy in bad weather.
So far I have not noticed any increase in agressiveness on the road to me as around here they couldn't get more agressive anyway.
It does feel more planted on the road at the front at speed, partly the extra unsprung wieght of the bigger brakes but also clealry the spoilers are producing more downforce. Its also pretty much optimised the air into the engine - the scoops under the wing create a ram effect forcing air into the engine bay as oppsoed to the normal aero where air is slowed up over the engine bay to allow it to be pulled through by a venturi under the engine. So from pretty much 30mph were getting as much cool are as we can intot he engine bay. I noticed this on the engine temp coming back from Coventry in the rain it was still 22C but the oil temp was a few degrees lower than it normally would be at a constant speed (about 65mph). This seems to have reduced the induction noise at 3k revs it now only really starts to growl at about 4k revs.
