Right it is TONIGHT people! You should be getting that old race suit and boots out and heading for the cash machine! [:D]

See you there.

I do hope somebody took a photo or two "¦ I'm heading to an endurance race at the same venue in a couple of weeks!

Well done to Andrew who was in the winning team and Mike's son Greg who was runner up. PhilRS's team was pipped at the post and came in a credible 3rd.

I came in at the rear but had a great time. Thanks for coming along.

Charles

Got home to " They Beat me" video by kevinbloodywilson from Scottie.

Never laughed so much! :O)

Try you tube.

Spoke to Manager at a well known BMW dealership today, they reckon they can beat the Porsche boys at the karting between now and end of year.... I don't think so

Any volunteers for a Porsche ( related team )

Mike

What about the ribs? Mine are still sore and I didn't hit anything!

Anyway Spa track tomorrow in my new F1 BMW suit! Maybe I should race for BMW team and the Porsche team will definitley win! :O)

Charles

Haven't had a def from BMW yet but the numbers would have to be approx 20 total.( for a 1 hour endurance race 10 teams of 5 pairs) We can easily get 10 bodies.
It might be nice to go for a curry after to discuss who did what to whom and bury a few hatchets...
To make it super friendly we could mix a BMW with Porsche but i would rather just hammer them and let them pay the curry !!

Will keep you posted with a new thread if this looks like a goer

Mike

Scottie,

I am going to Mahler's 3rd at Perth on Thursday week so will miss the Dakota unfortunately.

Charles

I'm up for it if my shoulders can stand the strain.
I found out two days after the event how sore it was.....
I guess 30 minutes in the hot seat is likely too much but tactics won the day after all. Jamie and I were never headed!

BMW drivers ? Surely that's shorthand for Bunch of Misguided W***ers

You know they all want to be real drivers. Porsche drivers.

Andrew
