Well it just goes to show that you can find a bolt on turbo that will give you the response that you're looking for AND increase your power, especially higher in the rpms. I sometimes think that our obsession with facts and figures can lead us to making the wrong decision. Such as when a turbo hits 1 bar. If it's 3000rpm or 3500rpm, I don't think it would present a major change. You get used to what you drive pretty quickly and adjust accordingly. Unfortunately we are in a very small club, those that modify 20 year old front engined Porsches. So there really isn't a wealth of information out there and many that have some, don't share. In other makes you often see a much broader pool of information and people willing to spread the word. When you think about it there may not even be 100 modified 944 turbos in the world. This is a fraction of other brands of cars so it's no wonder that we struggle a bit when upgrading our old world components.
Still it's fun trying....sometimes....

I went to B&Q and treated my self to a Dremmel new toy ! and I must say it works wonders on the Turbo Compressor wheel , came up like new . If any one needs there K26 220bhp Turbo servicing , I can provided the service including new bearings and sills and polishing the compressor wheel and balanced , for a cost of £195 plus postal cost , or if you deliver in person then you save the postal cost , best regards J.C
