STOP PRESS Just received a mail shot from KH they are holding another HM on Sat 13 th March from 1pm/5pm cost is £65 so book now spaces are at a premium.

They are also doing a Novice Track School on the same date in the morning starting at 09.30 lasts for 3/4hrs phone 01383 723337 to book your spot ,then you can join the big boys in the afternoon??

Sadly I cannot hold you guys up with my ageing chassis BUT I'm taking a few lads up from my sons karting club, could I ask a big favour and request a couple of laps in several Porsches from you?? You cannot miss them on the day as they will be in full race suits and helmets.[:D][:D][:D]
Thanks in anticipation
Mike[;)]

even Shaun is considered ( as a warm up!!!!)[][]

just put on Dunlop Snow tyres for Sunday and will put back in spare seat for you Mike if get the car back in time hope to see yous up there Gordon the 2nd gear Griff

I'll be there...also just a wee note to say that I changed my insurance to Liverpool Victoria yesterday as they will fully cover Track Days so long as there is no "race" element, i.e. not timed and non-competitive.

GreigM
I went with LV for my 993 I would be a bit concerned about cover for KH I read exclusions [ use for hire reward ,racing pacemaking, speed trials] depends how you class KH days I would be a bit wary as to the cover you would have, if you where to have god forgive a bump.Hope to be along on Sunday.
Brian RO1

Thanks brian, I had quite a long conversation with them about exactly what is covered, and what you say is correct. I explained what is happening at knockhill and they understood and agreed that I was covered as long as there is no timing, or any competitve element (which the 3 types you mentioned all would). Basically as long as there's nothing "forcing" you to drive faster or close to other cars then you're ok.

GreigM.
Well if this is what they agree on great ,looks like we got the best of both worlds cheaper insurance and track cover .The only other co that covers you for track time is Royal @Sun Alliance with a excess of £1000, did they give you any excess price and do you have to notify them before the event ?
Cheers Brian RO1
