Knockhill

Wet Wet Wet! Bu66ered off for a bottle of Margaux at lunchtime. Feet dry now. I hope you all survived?

I had a smashing day! although, thankfully not literally. I really wished I had booked to go on track now. I'm sure I could have had some of those guys in the WHITE section nae bother. [;)] Could probably have even kicked "Captain Slows" butt! Still, once my brakes get fixed.......(hint!) I will brave it next time. Enjoyed the day even in the rain and loved Jasons spin into the grass and rescue mission..

Too much power and no grip for Jason and many others, conditions were crappy to say the least. Knockhill and Sytner have organised a half day for those that left early to make up for the disappointing day. I haven't booked yet but they are actualy allowing us to drive the latest Knockhill fleet delivered mid Sept , rumoured to be .. Caymans woo woo. should have plenty of balance, ideal for those with too much power Croft cicuit got theirs in May and they are great fun. Just the car for me.......does it come with PSM!!! lol The credit crunch must be hitting hard!! Kx

It was nice to see a return of Frazer Murphy in his trusty 944 Turbo on track after an abcence of 2-3 years, he has not lost any of his car skills and it was almost comical how he scythed his way through the traffic costing 10 times the price of his car on Sunday , gon yersel Frazer.

How early did you need to leave to qualify? Or is it open to anyone who got soaked?! When/where/how much?

May be wise to check the car spec out , mid engine layout doesn't suit everyone [link=http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f75/mike901550/Knockhilltrackfleet2009.jpg]http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f75/mike901550/Knockhilltrackfleet2009.jpg[/link] Hook , line and..............

OK, hands up, you got me! I have one of those mid engine jobs (or my daughter does, to be strictly accurate). Might bring it next time if my grandchildren will lend it to me. It can't do any worse than the 328 GTS that ended up in the gravel trap! [:D][:D][:D]

I bought my niece one of those for her birthday, gemma is three and says she can whip your ass on track ! mikey ! sx
