Koni Adjustable Inserts

With much thanks to Stu at K300 my adjustable strut inserts turned up on Tuesday, the day after I ordered them.

They aren't fitted yet as I am still waiting for my Polybushes from Porscheshop (ordered the same day as strut inserts - read into that what you will.)

Are the inserts any good? I don't know I haven't fitted them yet. They were less than half the price of the adjustable struts and adjustable while in situ. Both these aspects make them good in my eyes.

The conversion seems simple enough but I have no idea how robust they will prove to be ultimately.

Herewith the fitting instructions for anyone that is interested http://www.2ta.co.uk/gallery/koni_instruct.pdf

Looks pretty straight forward to me from the instructions. I'm sure they will be fine. What springs are you going to fit?

I have -30mm uprated springs, but I don't know what rating they are. Perhaps I'll have to have them tested while they are off.

Apparently my Polybushes have been lost in the post. Porscheshop are ordering some more today and I should get them Wednesday. []

Beaky is required for a photo shoot on Sunday and if he isn't ready due to missing Polybushes I shall be more than just slightly disappointed.

Why didn't you get them from Stu at the same time as the inserts. And I have mine looked out if you want them, they are not only available but FoC to you.

...because I had a residual credit note with Porscheshop to clear. []

You would be a very top man .... at least Beaky will be able to come home again. Even though he doesn't get driven as much as he used to I am surprised how much I am missing him.

'Fraid not as:-

a. I have a meeting

b. No Porsche

If you could slip the bushes in the post perhaps I could PayPal you some form of remuneration?

I haven't got the bushes with me at work anyway, but I could ask my good lady wife to post them. Call it payback with interest on the burger you bought me at Elvaston last year.

I think we have your address (by we I mean Emma as she does the Chrissy cards).

I may have promised too much. From what I can telll over the phone and describing things in the garage [8|] I may only have unused bushes enough to do one side. I'll check myself of Friday, but for now I apologise if I can't come through with them.

He isn't, and I am. [][][]

I feel bad for you []..... I have had several 'issues' with the Porsche Shop too, they like to take orders and not tell you the parts arn't availible. In fact I will never purchase a thing from them now, parts are often cheaper from the OPC

On the plus side though, I've just gone and ordered a set of inserts as well [&:]

Least we know we can trust Stu ( K300 ) another of the good guys :ROFLMAO:

Alright Ian - Stu can promote himself!! [;)]

No he can't, 'cos we would have to ban him from the forum. [;)]

My experiences of Stu are he is a top man as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I third that, one of the best. He even rings me for a chat occasionally - I think one of his mates is just above or below me in his contacts list [:D]

Ok, ok - Stu bought me a beer at the last worker's conference and that makes him a decent guy in my book.

Please bear in mind that the next worker's conference is coming up and I still drink beer...[8|]

Ok, maybe I should not have posted... But, I see no reason why, I am no 'friend' of Stu or any other company, I pays my money like everyone else. I can only tell it like it is.. I had good service, I am sorry for that []

I also get great service from Swindon OPC, the person who rebuilt the top end of my car ( has a number less than 10 and a couple of letters next to z on the keyboard ), and the bloke who cleans our windows at home does a good job too..

Nuff said, I appologise...
