The food and the company were great and Elaine and I throughly enjoyed the drive which Graham had plotted through great scenery. The light today was superb and the dales looked at their magnificent best. We had the pleasure of Graham‘a company and chat on the radios.
It was great to meet, chat and dine with Catherine, a lovely American lady who was attending her first PCGB R7 event with her 987.1 S. We hope you enjoyed it and that you’ll become a regular Catherine.
It was also great to have the company of relatively new members Rik 981 Boxster and Laura, 987 Cayman. They were great company too. Laura is a really enthusiastic petrol head who in addition to enjoying her Cayman, races a classic Mini. Laura even works in the classic car world.
Whilst in the queue a new member Joe?
who had his young son with him, spoke to me briefly and we intended to chat after breakfast. Unfortunately the chat didn’t happen, no doubt due to me chatting with those on my table. I apologise Joe? (Hope I’ve got your name right). I hope we can chat soon. You are welcome to PM me.
Altogether it’s been a thoroughly enjoyable day.
