I'll come with you! I was looking for a seat on Wednesday but Karl rejected my advances (again) [8D]

Please feel free to reject me too on this forum, I like the public abuse [:)]

You were too slow off the mark Rod, you could have shared with Kish! Hope you and Charliestar get it sorted.......sounds like it'll be a good laugh!

John, we both know Kish has a beautiful, cosy lace tent for you two, and he's even organised your own 'his and hers' towel set.
The only question that needs to be asked is who's gonna be the 'hers'?[:D][:D]

Hi Kish,
My Wife and I are going to Le Mans this year for the first time (staying at the Curves) and were after a Convoy to tag along with, we are from up North (Wirral) but are staying in Guildford on Wednesday at my Bros's to break the journey up. Would it be alright if we tagged along with you guys and gals ? I see you are booked in on the 8.20 train, what time are you getting there and where are you meeting etc ? Also do you know how long it would take us to get to Folkstone at that time in the morning from Guildford ?

Thanks.......................Adam

Hi Adam,
Most definitely! Plenty of first time couple in the group so you will not be alone. We are pretty much scatter all over London, so we will most likely make quick stopovers at motorway service stations for quick pickups. We have some 6 cars so far, please drop me a private mail and I'll introduce you to the rest of the guys on the convoy.

Guildford - Folkstone
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=&saddr=Guildford,+Surrey,+GU1+4TL,+UK&daddr=folkstone&sll=51.471673,-0.325267&sspn=0.007792,0.015728&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=9

Google map says 1hr 38 minutes; best to allow as much time as possible (even if it is quiet in the mornings) and an hour before checkin. So I would have thought leaving at 5:30am would be good enough (?)

Hi Kish,

Sorry not to see you at the Ace on Wednesday, it was my birthday and my wife had other plans for me :)
I was at the Ace the month before and met a few people in our convoy. I've booked to stay at the Travelodge in Ashford the night before the train.
Wonder how many are in our convoy at this stage, I reckon quite a few now ?

Hi Stuart,
At last count we were about 8 cars...

BTW, we are just off to France in the morning for 3 days (Riems) . Some 10 Porsches for the annual London Region Spring trip to France.

Hopefully see you at one of the meets or events soon.

Kind regards,
Kish
