Lightweighting 993 for the track

I would put glassfibre bonnet and engine lid on. It's an easy way to loose weight especially the engine lid if you replace all the motorised spoiler with a nice light weight glassfibre one. If you keep the originals then you can always go back to the nice factory finish when you want. Agreed they don't look fantastic close up so the car becomes more of a "10 foooter". You'll need to make sure the front one is strong enough for the speeds you may be doing. Alumunium one was about £2000 last time I asked. I wouldn't do glassfibre doors as not safe enough without full roll cage.

BTW you can also take weight out from the front and rear bumpers. There is stuff inside them that can go. There is also inner wing liners and stuff like that as well.
