Looking for a 930!

If you haven't found a 930 yet look at the STRASSE website.
They have a mint condition 1988 'F' plate 4 speed that has done low mileage.
It belonged to a friend of mine who was fanatical about it (but swapped it for a lovely low mileage 993 2S).
Strasse are in Leeds, phone number 0113 2340911

Good luck with your search

Paul

Looks nice, but price far to high a five speed 89 went for £19000 on Ebay the other day. Looking around you could get better value for your money.

Looks nice Paul, but a little over my budget, only looking to spend up to £20K

Thanks!

Tim.

FOUND ONE!!

[FONT=verdana, arial"]It's a 1987, with 57K, gearbox rebuild (+ new clutch), totally original. Full Porsche sevice history from new.

The car's been in for a PPI (Strasse in Leeds) and the compression & leakdown figures are:

1 - 145 - 5%
2 - 145 - 5%
3 - 145 - 6%
4 - 145 - 4%
5 - 145 - 5%
6 - 145 - 4%

The only problems found were the 2 footwell heater blowers were not working, the windscreen washer jets were blocked, weak bonnet stays and a broken fuel pump mounting! Not too bad at all.

Should be driving her home next week sometime

Cheers,

Tim.

Good I still have my one in the pipeline black which is just the colour I want. Otherwise, I could have got one months ago but if I had I would only regret it later on.

Is that the one i saw at Gmund cars a couple of weeks ago.It was lovely & well up to standard at the price.Anyway , im sure you will find it an engaging and educational drive !
Welcome!

Yep, that'll be the one Jonny!

Glad you liked it because I haven't seen it in the flesh myself yet!! I've relied on photo's and Strasse's opinion!

Cheers,

Tim.

Apparently Gmund bought it in at £18k and spent £2.6k on it at Strasse. That's what I was told when I enquired about it. Hope this helps.

Good luck with it - looks lovely!

HI Tim the car that you are buying, is first class ,I know the man that as done the work and was under it yesterday when the small jobs were being completed, the underside is perfect, its like new all over,, would make a very nice Concours car,, enjoy it and welcome to Turbo ownership.

Thanks Barry!

Nice to get some feedback on it's condition from someone who's seen it in the metal!

I'm picking her up from Gmund next Friday [:D] That gives me a week to tidy up the garage!

Cheers,

Tim.

Well, picked her up today, she's fantastic, did the 240 miles home in no time [;)]

Trouble is I was grinning so much my face hurts now [:D]

I'll take some pics in the morning and update the post again.

Cheers,

Tim.
