Looking for cars for photography

ORIGINAL: scotia_steve74

I have to say some of my best pics are edging towards that way. I've spent a lot of time driving on the road to Ballater from Aberdeen when I used to have a girlfriend up there.

Ahh...Ballater, I know it well.
Although I'm from Ellon, I head up to Ballater, before heading accross the C*ckbridge - Tomintoul road (Blimey! the software doesn'nt like that word!) for some good driving. A fine road...

A speed yellow C4S would look stunning! Could maybe meet Glenshee area if you have a chance. Free Sunday AM so far...

Sadly, I'm about 120 miles NE of Shetland on an Oil Platform at the moment...and won't be home for another 10 days.
But if you are interested / willing, I'd get to you when I'm home..

I have friends in Dundee and Fife (993 C4, 993 C2S and 964 C4) so Glenshee would be easy for me...and a good excuse for me to head to Dundee to have a damn good curry and a few beers with the boys, before a fine drive the next day.

Not sure if this fits in with your timescale...but if it does, please let me know and I'll make the relevant plans.

I'd love to have some good pics taken by someone who has the kit and the imagination...sadly I have neither!

Glen.

Like to say big, big Thank You to Steve http://justhype.blogspot.com/ taking the time to take a 800+ photoshoot of my car on Sunday
It was a great few hours and especially had a good laugh driving up the 45 degree grass slopes (hills) at Cockenzie Power Station.

Thanks Steve

:) love the sensor!!!!!

Steve's car was the most insane car I have ever had the pleasure to accelerate in. I'm now looking for my own Turbo to mod!

Just to let everyone know now, I've had an incredible amount of requests for photos which is amazing and much appreciated - not to mention very unexpected. I've decided that in order to do some more shoots I will have to charge a small fee to cover the expenses and invest in some more gear. But if you like the shots of these cars then I'm sure it will be worth it!

A little pic from the weekend, my fav....

Lots more of the lovely 968CS and 996 GT3, 993 Turbo and of course Steve's Basalt 996 Turbo at Just Hype Photo Blog

Steve,
Congratulations on the great pic on the front of PP - I recognised it as soon as I pulled it out of the bag.

Yeah, big thumbs up for the cover shot.

Wanna have a go at my guards red Cayman sometime?

Steve, the kids have been playing with your camera again...they've taken a picture of a cup of cofee for no apparant reason[]

great photo [:D]

I have actually spent at least 5 minutes trying to spot foot prints in the snow, or work out if you had just let the handbrake off & pushed it back into the snow, or if the driver is hiding in the footwells [:D]

You need to stop off in N.Yorks on your way upto Scotland & photograph some 'proper' early porsches [;)][:D]

Jason - that was my "arty shot" for my blog :)

James - took me ages to photoshop my footprints out :) I would like to add some "proper" porsches to my portfolio [:D]

If you want some nice early 911's to shoot let me know. All based near to the A1 between Harrogate & Scotch Corner [:D]

my car [:D]

Steve
That's quite a difference, so much more atmosphere! Any chance of a few tips on what you did to change it....or is it a trade secret [:D]

Cheers
