Losing my mind...

Sanity regained [:D]

Just got back from quick trip to my OPC. My final order is now set on Arctic Silver (with DAJ) and Black interior. And I feel MUCH better now.

Something was just niggling at me about Cobalt. I can't say what it is. I liked it, but something about it was keeping me awake at night.

Arctic with painted lower sections should be sleak and classy without being overly showey - which is my ideal scenario.

Now the 2 month wait...

Took a few pics whilst down at my OPC. Must say that Arctic Cab with black leather looks gorgeous!

Alex - enjoy driving the car when it arrives.

I suppose you can always order another one if you don't like the colours after all...

Alex, don't kick yourself, I went through the same agony with my car, I really really wanted a change from silver & originally wanted Cobalt in the end I went for my fourth Arctic Silver 911, not for best re-sale, because I love the colour & I think it looks great on all Porsches. No regrets for me.

But I do think the Turbo suits the darker colours, then again the salesman wanted me to have Speed Yellow!

Reference the painted grills, if you want another opinion... they are gastly! Saw a silver car at Silverston with the aerokit & painted lower lip, didn't like that either, but as ever each to their own!

Me neither, almost looks 'aftermarket' you could imagine the paint peeling off after 6 months like a dodgy DIY respray.......

Welcome to the party Yves, even if you didn't bring a present [:-]

I myself couldn't be happier. I think the DAJ grilles make the car look more balanced in that the nose looks less pointy. It gives the car a more rounded appearance - less wedge shaped from back to front.

It also balances the front number-plate. Without the painted grills or a very dark exterior colour such as black, I think a white number-plate looks like a bad moustache hanging off the nose of the car.

I always loved the DAJ look on white Turbos, and I now find it also works with silver. So I am over the moon as I get the classy looks of the silver with something different to all the other ones on the road [:D] [:D] [:D]

nope...[:(] Lower lip and sills look amazing on the white... grills though.... Chav [;)] Did you have the lit lower sill scripts aswell ???

I did [;)] so can't say alot

I wonder if DAJ would look more impressive if only the horiozontal bars were colour coded and the verticals remain in black. That way the vertical bars would 'disappear' and the horizontals would be accentuated. just a thought. I'm no good with 'Paintshop' so can't try it on one of the white cars above to see if my thoughts are correct.
