R25 are doing this on November 4th :

"November 4 - Visit to Lotus Cars, Hethel, Norfolk. We have arranged a visit to Lotus Cars in Norfolk which is approximately 130 miles from Maidstone. Meeting at a restaurant in neaby Attleborough at 11.45am for an optional lunch (cost £11.45 for a 2 course carvery) followed at 13.45 by a short drive to Hethel where we will have a comprehensive tour of the facilities. Thank you for advising this. Perhaps a PM/email to me might have been more appropriate, avoiding any confusion and allowing me to contact Phil and Pearl over at R25 behind the scenes to see if they would be agreeable to combining events. As it stands, I will now do this today.

I am still prepared to organise our own independent visit if there is sufficient interest and an alternative date is preferred.

Hi Clive, Its a while since my frequent visits to Cheshunt in 1961, as then I owned a Lotus Elite, but have not seen one on the road or at classic car shows.

However I would be very interested in visiting the factory at Hethal please x 2

I did this earlier in the year and it makes a good day out we also did a track day at Hethel which was really good fun and a great little track. I don't know if you could arrange to do a track day as well if you could get the interest maybe by combining the visit.

The 12th or 19th of November seem to be the most likely dates atm.

I'm looking to tie up ends with the Lotus factory shortly and will report back when everything is finalised.

Just heard back from Lotus and we've now landed on Thursday 19th November. [:)] So pen that date in your diaries.
