Lotus Factory Visit

Um.
You get a tour of the Lotus Factory.

It's been quite a few years since I last did one (before the FWD Elan was launched!), but it was a most enjoyable and fascinating look at how the Esprit was flung together, sorry - I mean carefully crafted[:D]

I really enjoyed the ones I went on before, but then I'm weird like that...[8D]

Me too. I was an Elan SE Turbo owner for 5 years and 2 factory visits when the cars needed big services. The tour was interesting and the guys on the shop floor were extremely friendly and chatty. In those days, under different ownership, the £15.00 Tour Charge hadn't been dreamed up, no wonder they never use to make any money out of car production giving it away for free :ROFLMAO:
