Luggage option

Sorry..forgot.....luggage, have bought a number of the Longchamp bags, which fold away to handbag size, in case of the shirt/ladies top type bag fold away to flat......vary in price from 50-80 euros each...but a steal as opposed to the Porsche
items!...which IMHO are flimsy and overpriced by x 10 fold!

How do you find carrying luggage effects the handling? If you only had one weekend bag is it best to put it in the front or back?

Paul

With both boots full and two in the cockpit I can't say it made a noticeable difference

Yes they do - and it's usually about 50 Euros cheaper - but it looks to be exactly the same!

I've been considering it myself - has anybody got these?

Looks perfect... a bit naff on the colour front (check out www.roadsterfun.de). I've sent them an email, and at 189 euro for the whole set I think its worth taking a punt on..

That will give here 2 suitcases in the front - and some sense of victory on her part :)

I emailed them to ask about the 986 option + shipping to the UK.

986 = €199 on the website + €24 shipping.
987 = €199 + €24 shipping.

Suggests that the 987 + 986 are the same. Can't be that different, can they?

Mark i dont understand €99 for the 986 set? WOW!

I'm interested!

Typical - I can't find it in completed listings now [&:]

They were selling them on ebay - and the starting bid was 99Euros (can go up)

There is a 987 set there now - Already has a bid on the 138 Euro starting price:

---> Link to Auction <---

It loooks like they changed from one huge case in the front - to 2 smaller ones (better I would think - the big one would get mighty heavy!)

They do come up regularly though - so keep looking?

We've done a two weektrip to Provence and yes it does feel heavy but not unbalanced. I just pretended it was a fully fuelled 962 at Le Mans !!!!
