ORIGINAL: Russell Wheatley Should be there just after I get one or two things in Canary Wharf.... Note to Nick I am a bloke so I don't spend ages shopping!
[:D] I think you maybe one of the only people who make it there today. You can have 'special prize' in the New Year, so special I do not even have one yet!!

Yep.... no one there... and I was in my reliable Japanese car as the Porsche is still at C.O.G. getting the Bilsteins fitted! (Fortunately only 3 miles from the house - unlike Nick's drive!) Russell

Agreed that this months Fatboys is effectively cancelled due to the OPC Reading visit. However, weather permitting Ed and I will going to the diner afterwards as the magazine (non-forum using) members wont see this. Note: We are looking at better ways to publish event changes to those non-forum using club members. We have very recently gained access to the regional membership list for which most members have given an email address.

Ian and I cycled down to fat boys yesterday and told the owner that there would be a very low if any turn out on the 21st

Cheers Beaky, chances are Ed and I could be the only ones there but we are not going to take the risk.

Ha-ha! I've only just joined PCGB and I hadn't read this forum yet...so there I was sat at Fatboys Diner on Saturday, with my freshly waxed backdated 911 SC parked out front...awaiting a throng of Porkies to ogle at!!! I had a burger, still no other cars. I went for a walk, no Porches appeared! I went back and had cherry pie and a milkshake. Still no cars. I wondered if I had the wrong 'Fatboys', but then spotted a Porsche sticker on the door! I had a coffee and went home. "How was it?" asked the missus. "Mine was the best one there", I said and went down the pub! I will endeavour to read these posts next time! Mat (newbie and billy-no-mates at Fatyboys!)

Welcome Mat and apologies yes we were all at OPC Reading on a 'Fatboys on tour away day' as you have now probably guessed reading our forum. For up to date info on events including changes etc the forum, our facebook page, twitter feed, and on-line calendar are all good places to look. The Porsche Post aka the club magazine holds some but updates are limited by copy dates. Now if you said you were heading to the pub you could have had 35+ others join you on the way home. Our next region meet (and it is still on) is Ace Cafe next Monday. ps. Your R20 welcome letter with R20 decal went in the post this very morning.
