To the organizers:

A very heartfelt thanks to you who organized yesterday's excellent luncheon at The George from those of Region 4 who enjoyed the day.

It was particularly welcome to see another classic lined up...that other red 912. Mine did not quite end up in the courtyard!

Many thanks to all concerned.

Brod Purdy

Chairman R4 (and 912 owner)

Hi,

I took some photos also, but as I am still in the analogue age with photography, we shall have to wait and see how they come out [:)]

The only problem was that the courtyard never really got any sun on it to show off the shining cars to their best

Excellent lunch - thanks to everyone for organising it

Cheers

Pete

[FONT=verdana, geneva"]Thanks to Register 8 for a great lunch - Elsa and I enjoyed it very much. Our thanks, also, to whoever organised the weather! Sadly, Elsa did manage a little retail therapy as well.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Hi Brian

It was a pleasure to meet yourself and Elsa - hope you enjoy your flying [:)]

sorry to be the barer of bad news but,
a few people (one table worth) left without paying their drinks bill.

1 bottle of wine £17.85
1 lge glass of wine £5.75 paid
1 lge glass of wine £4.35 paid
2 pints of Admam beer £6.00 paid

total bill outstanding £33.95. im sure this was a oversight so if a cheque made payable to PCGB could be sent to me at 16,The Croft,Ashby-de-la-Zouch LE65 1FP.for the amount you owe. i would be most grateful as Robin Hainsworth has payed this bill out of his own pocket.
i can imagine he'll be thinking twice about organising another event for us if he end up picking up the bill.

UP-DATE... Thank-you so much everyone.
i now have the money for the wine and the beer, so just the bottle of wine outstanding. i understand there was only one bottle of wine ordered as most of us were driving so.......

please please check your bills it was very easy to over look the drinks bills as they were left on the tables while we had our puddings.
