Lust!

Whilst at Unit 11 today having my new front springs fitted etc, I was lusting over a gorgeous mint green 964 RS Clubsport that was having its engine rebuilt.

The icing on the cake was the fact that it sat on some delicious BBS LM wheels with gold centres and polished outer rims - it looked hard as nails!

Bit like this, apart from the colour...

Hubba bubba....:p:p:p

Stop it Nick. Now I have my car back I am trying not to look at shiny things for fear of wanting to buy them.

I do keep looking at the car below wondering if it would fit nicely in my garage though [:D]

Oh mummy!

Either of those two examples would be MOST welcome to take up long-term residence in my garage ... (the lack of funds to buy them, and indeed the total lack of a garage are merely incidental to this comment ... )

Oli.

Actually Des's is mint green and it looks superb, especially with his body-colour headlight covers.

I bet it would look pretty wild on a 944 as well [8D][:D]

Lee, that is gorgeous and would look perfect with a surf board poking out of the window?!

I've definitely got a 964 itch to scratch again but this time it will be a hardcore, lightened RS alike with half cage and KW suspension...

...must remember to get my Lottery ticket[8|]

The pic I have posted there, the car is for sale, no look away Lee []
It is actually a standard 993C2 but with RS Kit, wheels and exhaust I believe. Also has carbon blingy bits on the interior, so does really look the part and it is not too silly money.

Would have to sell the 944 if I were to finance this ( and fit it in the garage ) , but as I have now spent a small house on my car over the last 4 to 5 years it would seem crazy to change!!!

Would'nt it, no it would'nt, yes it would, no, yes, NO NO NO!!!

Oh maybe go and have a look at it so I know what I am looking at in the future[:D]

Lee, how much is the 993 up for?

No harm in just looking?! [;)]

Yeh, right...[:D]

993 eh, for a while I thought about buying one but it seemed £20k + was needed for a nice one, other than the looks and the noise I thought it would be an inferior car to a KW and level 2 tweaked 944T for around £10k.

Tell me I'm right.

Good, if I see one I'll just turn the stereo up so I can't hear it. [:D]

I think you are correct Pauly, although it is the noise of the 993 that makes me what one, oh and the looks, they do look nice.

But as you said a Level 2 equipped car with KW is fab.

Although mine does not have KW ( I have rebuilt MO30 ) with my level 2 kit the car does not hang around and is fab fun tearing away from much more exotic machinery.

My mate has a Ferrari 355 and I took him out in mine the other day and he reckons mine would be slightly ahead once rolling.[:D]

I can feel a Wortech exhaust and a step upto Level 3[] Oh did I say that, look away from the shiny bits ( I am blaming you for me even looking "Nick" )

Hi Lee, where abouts in the wirral are you? My grandparents live in Hooton and I may be visiting soon. Would very much appreciate a ride in your 'refreshed MO30' car as a camparison to my 'unrefreshed' car, if you wouldn't mind?

Hi Ben

I am on the outskirts of Moreton on the way to Meols/Hoylake.

Your welcome to have a ride in the car to see how it feels.

I have the feeling I need to wind the things up a bit though as they feel a tad soft at the moment.

Just drop me a mail when your coming up and come and have a coffee and catch up

Cheers

Lee
