Mad prices out there ..... maybe wait?

Never realised how sanitised and comfy the RS Lightweight is ........ the N-GT Clubbie IS to me still the definitive RS and most involving hard core 911 road legal ever made. But to most that would not make it the best, but playing the RS game is the ultimate fix, no question and it was for those reasons I moved back to a Carpet......

Nothing can repeat the N-GT experience pooping out the top of Raddion (eau rouge) on FULL cam with the whole cabin reverberating and all that transmission noise, you know where you are ....... great to have those memories and anyone not been there I suggest ask Hugh or Chris W nicely ..... or you could make do in a Cup Car,

Certainly the RS Carpet is the best all round useable (must make it best then) variant but such a BIG difference with the N-GT .....

Des - I'd beg to differ, the Touring is the best all round ROAD useable 64RS [:D]

btw - great choice of colour [;)] I look forward to the pics....

I wanted to keep the Toring out of the equation ...... In my opinion the standard RS Lightweight is a very useable everyday car, the touring is on the same running gear a few more crature comforts .... to take the arguement to it's full then a C2/4 Coupe must be better still, a question of striking that balance while honouring the RS badge which the lightweight just gets away with as does the touring to a slightly leeser value ..... touring has it's place particularly in RHD has the 75K one sold? or just taken off P'Heads?

I don't know for sure whether the £75k Touring sold or not, I suspect not......, the asking price seemed a little ambitious IMO, only a Maritime example could possibly command such a premium [:D]
