interesting car - and absolutely stunning.....

any idea what the asking price is?

If ya gotta ask.............[;)]

Apparently he's smitten by off-roading in a Landy these days....[8|]

Weird looked at this last night and recognised the car but never put 2+2 together that it was Matts...think the RSR badge threw me!

Surprised he is selling[&:]

I seem to recall the RSR badge on the back. I think its a hell of a car! And I know Matt looked after it. I'm still trying to talk my friend into it.

I spoke to our ever-present German dealer yesterday (going thru the bi-annual do I sell it/ put it back to RS spec/ keep it as is soul searching) and he reckons the market is very quiet, strength of Euro hurting etc...economy struggling...

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought cars had been heading out the doors for strong money recently??

I think he has been sitting on a few cars but they are top prices tbh.

Not sure how the strength of euro is a problem if buying UK lhd cars!!! (ok its softened from 1.07 to 1.15)

Do think its quietened a little from a few months ago but there will still be buyers.....

Just in passing, can someone remind me what Herr Schmitz' current web site is?? I recall it changed to germansportscars.de some time ago but that domain now seems to be up for sale. Any pointers gratefully received.

Regards

Dave

Tom certainly has some cracking examples - albeit at seemingly ambitious prices.....

I see he is now selling a MK1 GT3 @ 58k euro, no doubt Des has been coaching him [:D]

Thinking of selling up Dave? [;)]

Where's Des?

He has always had a soft spot for this car.

I drove it a few years ago, before Mat bought it,,,a great experience, but didn't seem very fast to me at the time?

Definitely faster than a clubsport, in fact faster than a clubsport on Motec! I guess it depends it what you compare it to. But for the period its got to be a fast car.

Allegedly my kettle if LHD would be worth double in Europe .... how soon before we see the Krauts buying he half price RHD and just tracking them?

never I'm afraid.

Although we will buy lhd you will never get the euros to buy rhd, they just don't.

So how much is Matts car up for then? Anyone know?

Tom has just yesterday found a new owner for my 64RS[:)]. There were more people interested in buying it directly from me, so the buyers are out there!!

I also took the red GT3cs for a jaunt while i was there last Thursday[:-]
