2nd June Oulton - you'd be very welcome! [:)]

Matt, haven't seen you since that very icy day at Donny a couple of years ago.

Would be good to catch up with everyone. I'll see if my diary can be molded to fit a trip to Oulton in. I'll bring my helmut.

It's certainly an interesting car, and Alzen is a real name in Germany ---

'Could be another car destined to leave these shores, and a Wide Boy [;)]

ORIGINAL: clubsport
I drove it a few years ago, before Mat bought it,,,a great experience, but didn't seem very fast to me at the time?

Hi Clubsport. I believe you must have driven the car when I'd sent it to Fearnsport. It was up at Fearnsport to be looked at because it had an air leak and simply wouldn't make any boost. I don't believe you have driven since this problem was fixed. I drove it the other day and the way the torque just keeps accelerating you up the road makes you laugh out loud.

RSR, Yes it was at Fearnsport, I should have put more emphasis on, "at the time"....it ran well enough, but the seat of pants dyno suggested 300ish bhp......You know how it is, you get into drive something that is a race car shell with a supposedly tuned, boosted lump, you are preparing for an absolute beast of a machine...and it was just quick!

I think this is a great car, it certainly handled well, has great provenance and importantly has a massive sense of occasion, even being near to it,,,,the way it has been fettled and improved is a credit to Mats ownership, someone is going to own a very good car, lets hope the € continues to struggle, that way it has more chance of staying in the Uk.

Good luck with the sale.
