I'm up to £197K on quite a modest spec. [&:]

May have to take up working again! [X(]

Clive

MUCH rather have a new 458 or even a 599 GTB for that kind of money. No thankyou McLaren!

Might be an expensive buy in but I bet they keep their value extremely well.

Wouldn't surprise me if you could buy and run for a year at "no cost".

Not like our p-cars î"

Reading full drive and review in Car this morning (subscription copy)

Some machine - comments like performance more Veyron that 458

Now where's that lottery ticket

All reports thus far say that it's better to drive than a 458.

However at £200k for a half-decent-spec, it would have to be the Ferrari for me - even if the Ferrari is slower... it's a Ferrari [8|]

Yes, but then again the McLaren is a Mclaren ...............................and it's faster than the previous iconic F1.

I eexpect it to be real driver's car.

If I were a little younger and could get my leg over [8|], it would certainly be on my wish list.

These cars are all about how they make you feel, not how fast they go. Mere mention of a Ferrari and my heart rate increases a little. The same could not be said about any McLaren.

It's ugly. The interior feels plasticy and isn't special in any way (bar the shift paddle), the door entry system is annoying,It has huge sills, and it will soon be just one of an entire range of (better) cars. It's been talked about for so long I'm already bored of it!

Then get a gen2 GT3RS and spend the rest on booze and women :)
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered. [FONT=verdana, geneva"]George Best

For me, it's all about how it drives! [:)]

I had a play in a Mazda MX5 at the weekend which proves you can have a lot of fun for not a lot of cash. A really nice drive.
Just think how much you could then spend on booze and women
