Meeting on 26th at Dakota Eurocentral

Jane Smart

PCGB Member and Party-Girl
Who is going along to this meeting? Are we eating or just meeting? I was thinking of heading along, even though it is past Tesco [:)]

I am on yet another diet, so think I will skip the food if anyone is eating.

Don't suppose any of you know me as I've only every been to a couple of meetings, but I suspect this might be an important meeting for the club so I'm going to come along. It's good that two of the directors are coming up here.

Would be good to meet you all too.

Is Dakota hotel sign potsed when you turn off A8? Their web site does not have a map.

It's dead easy to get to, just take the Eurocentral junction off the M8/A8 and it's right there on the westbound side. You can see the big black hotel building from the motorway.

Mark, we met at the OPC Edinburgh last year, admiring the Lime Green Maserati.

It is ok Doug, I passed Eurocentral last week and the week before, I was not driving, so should manage to get there ok even without my satnav, which I dropped in the car last week and broke it. Had a nice guy to the house today to fix it, so hopefully it has not gone all wonky on me [8D]

Had somebody who went to a horsey event at Lauder at weekend using Sat Nav on her own for first time

The Sherrifhall roundabout did not allow exit to Dalkeith soooo I got this call about 9 ish " I'm heading for Musselburgh" the sat nav in back ground squaking make a U turn Help where do I go now?

They are great especially in Europe you have just got to trust them!
Maybe, my Becker's very good but told me to turn down a 4x4 track in northern Spain - I declined the suggestion. Was a public road because I saw an ML turn in ahead of me and (after finding an alternative route) I came across the other end of it - shortest route maybe but I think it would have removed my 993's front PU.
