Was a good meeting and nice to see so many faces trying to sort out our region. [

Drive home not so good it was bucketing with rain and I think that I need either new glasses or new windscreen wipers I could hardly see the road ahead of me. ( hope it is the wipers they are cheaper lol [8D] )

Yes it was a good meeting and hopefully things will sort themselves out ,surprised to see such a low turnout of members or should I say PCGB members that do not go to anything thought that would have been a good time to come out the woodwork to find out what the club was all about and air there views, and meet the directors .The usual gang as always where in attendance

I agree, it was a good meeting and hopefully Martyn and Chris are more aware of our "regional idiosyncrasies". Like most I had no doubt things would improve once the meeting status quo was regained and the new RO, supported as ever by the members, takes the region forward.
I look forward to meeting some of the other 400+ PCGB members? Assuming they're reading this.[][]

I think there's a lot for Scott to sort out, but have confidence that he'll give it a good shot.
I'm hoping there will end up being a decent spread of events for our region through the year"”the social and motorsport events tend to be on the expensive side for me (pub nights excepted) so I'd be really thrilled to see more visits to OPCs and Porsche independents and more drives out, Sunday lunches, barbeques etc alongside the bigger things. Maybe some interaction with the northernmost English regions too?

Can I say a thankyou to Martyn & Chris. They obviously felt the need to meet up with us to get Region 1 back on track. Like Bill says, it's a pity more 'other' members didn't turn up, but perhaps when the new RO and committee are formed, that hopefully will change. I for one am sure it will.

Yes, good meeting - felt like everyone was saying same thing and that seemed to come over to the directors.
Was also good to meet so many of you for first time - you really are a very friendly bunch - I should be at Sherbrook next Tuesday to sample that (subject to work not sending me off to London at short notice[&:]).
