Can't make this one folks, busy two weekends in a row, but I'm sure you will enjoy....see you at club night unless the sun continues to shine and we can get another (evening) run in before then....

Thinking of going to this but I’m a newbie to the club, I,ll probably be on my own and my cars a new 911 and I might wanna go just for the morning. Any thoughts anyone ?

Hi Stephen we would love to have you along but to exhibit on the Club stand you are required to be in by 10am until 4:30pm if you can only do the morning you will need to purchase a ticket for the show and park in the main car park. You will still be more than welcome to join us at the stand.

If you can make it for the day please contact me tomorrow to arrange.

regards

Greg

Well the gods may have a vendetta against me showing the turbo cab this year but we shall solider on..... I'll be there but in a mystery machine..... watch this space

For all members who have pre-registered to park on our Club stand at this show. I have been asked if all vehicles can please download this link and print and display your designated parking area to enable the Bywell marshals to get us in and to the correct area quickly. Let me know if you do not have access to a printer.

The organisers would prefer all Club cars to arrive together, which is why I have suggested the Falcon as a meeting point.

Is it Yellow per chance?

It’s a yes for Paul S, and excuse my ignorance but where is the ‘falcon’ the meeting place For Stockfield show?

Paul

Its on the way into Prudhoe town centre on the Right coming from the east. Google map it. Very easy to find.

Paul, full details of the meeting point are further up in this thread. We still don't appear to have your car details though. Can you get in touch with Greg ASAP, please. We've already submitted our list of Club cars to the show organisers, we need to let them know of any late additions by tonight.

Another cracking day with old and new friends. Talking cars and the club with prospective new members and helping put peoples minds at rest regarding faults they have encountered which we as a group have experienced and had repaired. PCGB R3 had a steady foot fall all day and plenty of photos were taken.Sure there were lots of young future Porsche owners in attendance 👍

Thoroughly enjoyed another cracking day. More friends made through the world of Porsche [:)]

I didn't realise this event was so big. The spectacle all the old classic cars collected together on a few fields was outstanding. The day was finished perfectly with a convoy of Mini's leaving the fields. Must have been around about 15 to 18 In total. Looked like something off the Italian Job.

Fantastic day, my new sunburn is a testament to the glorious sunshine enjoyed by all (well maybe not the more fair skinned......Amy []). Great uptake at the gazebo by some current non-members who will hopefully be signing up over the next couple of days.

Great selection of cars on display but R3 were by far the best turned out (ok TVR & Mini were pretty good to)

Big shout out of gratitude to Mr Harm for again bailing me out of the smelly stuff due to minor technical issues with my car.

Long may the R3 party continue........

I have to admit along with you guys Deb & I thoroughly enjoyed the day. The show had plenty of interesting cars to see and everywhere I wandered, I constantly heard comments like " my dad used to have one of those" which made me smile, because when you get to that certain age you then start to realise I had actually owned quite a few of the many varied marques and models on display at some point over the years.

The weather obviously plays a massive part of any outdoor static show and yesterday certainly didn't let us down it was a real scorcher.

It was great to see so many R3 members new and old relaxing and enjoying each others company under the shade of a large tree, sharing stories, picnic's, wine (non-drivers) and of course some great homemade cake. This was exactly what the doctor ordered, a real tonic. We haven't done too many shows of this manner during 2018 and have tried to focus more on drives, but as our members sat and the great banter flowed it reminded me of why we still do events of this nature, the fantastic camaraderie of R3 simply never disappoints.

Brillant day out with old and new friends, fab weather. Thanks Greg and Deb for all your continued hard work and enthusiasm!
