Hi everyone,

Please find below extract from club magazine, please note that I need numbers in order to organise the buffet !

Sun 24th - David Coulthard Museum Visit for Lunch & the Monaco Grand Prix
(Now Changed to Bo'ness Motor Museum)

The DC Museum venue has been cancelled as the museum is now closed. As a last minute change we are going to go to the Bo'ness Motor Museum to watch the GP. Meeting point will be just off the main roundabout at Strathclyde Park at 11.30am, leaving at midday for a run to Bo'ness. Lunch/drinks etc are available in the café/bar at the museum.

Bo'ness Motor Museum, Bridgeness Road, Bo'ness, EH51 9JR

Sausage roll and a sandwich then!!! [:D]

I'd better get my Lewis Hamilton T-shirt washed and ironed!

Sorry cant make this working late shift and trying to give Colin more work lol [8D]

For those who have never been to the museum it is very interesting ,has possibly the largest display of James Bond 007 memorabilia and a nice display of cars etc well worth a visit so go early and view the cars .It is also a meeting place every month for several car clubs inc TIPEC so is well used.

Anyone else going?

We will need numbers for the buffet which I need to confirm next week.

Cheers

Bill

Would it be possible just to go along, to say hi, a wee bit of lunch, then leave when the GP starts? [:)]

Count me in please Bill. My car's back on the road!

I think Jen will be working, so it'll just be me and the dog. No buffet for the dog, ta.

Hi again, I have decided to stay for the GP now also, as it might be a bit of fun to watch it with company. [:D]

Sorry I don't mean to keep spamming this thread, but just thought to mention I will meet you all at the museum, in case you are waiting for me at Strathclyde Park [:)]

Anymore commiting to going next Sunday?

10 so far according to this thread. Please can you let usa know as soon as possible as I do need to commit to numbers.

As Brian said there is more than the F1 GP, the museum is worth a look round but be warned, recognition of some items will give away your age!!
