Monthly meeting - 18th April - Change of Speaker

But I'm too young to be sectioned & I'm not going to volunteer, either.Don't forget,I have my own 2 family medical experts who will testify to my sanity-that is once I have changed my will in their favour.(I wish I hadn't heckled now.[&o])[:(]

Although somewhat tardy, may I nevertheless join the melee to give a hearty thanks to Mr K for his spirited delivery last Weds.

The tips, techniques and pointers more than merited the gallon I used to get there and the one to get back - all at a steady 70mph, naturally [;)] - but i wish the subject matter had also included parking tickets as i got one for parking in a disabled space the very next day. []
Doh!

Graeme

Sorry Graeme, that will just not do-to those outside his inner sanctum,he should be addressed as His Honour & to add a criticism about parking tickets, well what do you expect for free-Rob has reached the very pinnacle of his profession & if you will deny a handicapped ,sorry disabled person, the right to park ,then you will have to take the punishment & pay Rob the noble amount to arrange your "get out of jail " card.

No sympathy here.[:D][:D]

The irony of that graeme was that the original talk was supposed to be about avoiding parking tickets! [;)]

Thanks for the kind comments gents.

Rob has reached the very pinnacle of his profession

Erm, isn't that the Attorney General or the Lord Chancellor or something. Some way to go yet I fear [:D]

well rob....your last addition to your cv was 'guest speaker at R18' so i'm guessing the pinnacle now would be chairman of PCGB....just a matter of time matey! [:D][;)]

I think that the current board should enjoy a period of stability [:D]

Give us dangerous brothers a bit of time though and we could set up a dream team using the expertise found just within R18:

You - Regional Director (being from Yorkshire) - or should that be head of finance?
Dean - Director of catering
Jamie - Director of Media, with special portfolio for securing new loan 911s from Porsche
Mac = head of security
Colin - Director of pastel knitwear
Tony Bolton - can sit in for Colin when he runs out of pullovers [;)]
David - can be responsible for relocating Cornbury House to a golf course in the North

That gives us a basic quorum to work from, we could be on to something here...

Rob,
You've missed your self out unless your natural modesty has led you to assume the pinnacle of your career so far as Leader & Chairman of the Bloody Brothers working out of a cunningly rebuilt prefab disguised as Cornbury House & relocated at vast expense by our RO(Relocation Officer)-David Baker-motto--If it moves ,move it-if it doesn't-sod it!

Jeremy-Director of The Mission
Dean-Director of Beef Paste Sandwiches & ex-officio team leader of Statistics.
Jamie-Director of Media with Portfolio having special responsibilityfor all club guitar chords
Mac-Head of Security ,Subversion & any other version as long as it's Black.
Sue-Actual Head of Security as she wears the trousers.
Me-Director of Pastel ,Fruit Gum & all Round Trees.
Tony Bolton-Alternative colour specialist with special responsibility for sign language.(shared with Jamie)
Phil Shaw-Director of Bon Mots
David-see above
Mike Plank-resident projectionist & purveyor of Forum jokes
Mark-the horsepower behind Mike

Well, I toyed with Peter's role but after 2 stints on the board I reckoned he'd leave you revolutionaries to it!

And even though I'm not in the Inner Sanctum or regularly on here, I'd be happy now in my fully qualified role to accept occasional guest appearances to the team under the heading 'Parking Ticket Advisor'.
(How to get them in the shortest time possible, that is...) ! [:)]

Youre in graeme...youre in !!

I regretably have the speeding bit covered but youre welcome to be parking ticket csar! [;)]

Graeme,
I too welcome you-we need more specialists-as Rob can't do it on his own having regular office hours based on the Preston Guild-Jeremy has heavy responsibilities looking after the old folk of Lytham ,Jamie has to keep sharpening his pencil,Kendal mint cake & anything else to do with Graphene & I am too busy adding pastel pullovers to my growing collection-but don't try pulling the wool over anybodies eyesy your own parking fines because we don't yet have a kitty.[:)]

Sounds like a plan, Colin !

Rob, i guess he got one up on me and got clamped in a Loading Bay (so couldn't attend) ...

Jeremy et al, thx for the welcome. Right now I wanted to select the icon of a guy doffing his hat but it's not been added in yet. No matter, you get my drift [:D]

youre part of the inner sanctum now graeme....

we'll teach you the handshake next month! [:D][;)]
