More ebay madness

sorry to hear that Steve Strange appears to have become greedy .

I bought a 944S2 starter off him back in January for a very reasonable £39.50 incl P&P

It arrived with a part missing so I contacted him and he immediately sent me out a replacement starter motor next day delivery free.

You cannot fault that excellent service .

I guess we just have to shop around and be thankful at least that someone is making all these used items available to us at all. have you seen the price of new Porsche parts lately

Maybe it would have paid us to get together and to set up a Porsche dismantling shop for club use so that we can always be sure of sourcing difficult to obtain or expensive items in good used condition at a fair price.

 
There are some really good, economical and reliable spares suppliers listed in the faqs, of course. Whilst we don't allow name-and-shame for obvious reasons, there's no reason we can't have a list based on feedback we get. The people in the faq are ones who've had generally positive feedback from a number of people. If someone isn't on the list it might be because there's been more negative feedback to me than positive! Or, because not many people have used them and let me know how they got on.

Bu 99er me backwards with a bargepole - that's just taking the pee! You could have bought a complete (ropey) S2 a couple of years back for that much!
