if the manufacturer made a version of your car which has the attributes you desire (especially more power) it is generally a lot cheaper to sell, and buy the faster model, than it is to modify your existing car.

To be fair he doesn't even need to buy a Turbo to go faster than a Lux. Even an S2 - even an S2 in the wrong colour - will do that.[;)]
 
I'd also suggest it's possible to make a Lux lap quicker on some circuits than a stock turbo can manage, for less money... [;)]

But seriously I think part of the problem is we're not really sure why the OP feels he needs more power and how much extra will be sufficient (ok I know the term 'sufficient' it out of place here!). There's also the question about how the car will be used - if it's for drag strip use, road use or circuit, these will all make a big difference to the likely suggestions.
