More MoT amnesia on Ebay.

I wonder whether the seller could actually be prosecuted for misrepresentation, as he can surely not deny that he knew of the faults yet failed to declare them.

Just been having fun with this https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ first one I looked at on ebay stated "No Advisories" Liar liar pants on fire.
I'll never look at another car again without using this, (loads of fun)[:D]

It's also really sad.

I looked up our faithful Legacy, and it never took it's MOT in August.

It was a really straight car, but as it was scruffy the £1K trade-in was a good option compared to tarting it up to get a few hundred more when we changed it in April. So sad to see a really well-maintained workhorse go to scrap, when it had done us 130K miles of great service over 10 years. I genuinely think it had another 100K miles in it at least. [:(]

I looked up my old S2 and horror of horrors shortly before I bought it from a dealer it failed the MOT on 'corrosion near rear suspension pick up points' on both sides. It then passed another MOT the same day. I was new to 944's at the time and the car was a 'CAT D' due to a minor prang on the front corner. I spent all my time looking at that and never checked rear sill area.

The new MoT computerisation has been a bit of a fiasco. They've lost a load of data somewhere, they claim it's a raving success, but as someone who uses it every day, I beg to differ.
