MOT & LSD

That's right George. It's imperitive to have a sound lsd on our cars. To be honest the stock 40% was not really designed for the track either, more for rapid road touring sort of thing. Depending on what you want from the car will dictate which one is most applicable for you.
As for reading my cars spec's and wondering on it's performance, well that's all I do nowadays as well. I have been going through a long drawn out process of getting it back on the road. I had it back for 4 days after 5 months off, and had an engine failure due to the piston to wall clearance being spec'd incorrectly. It's now been 5 weeks while I wait for the sleeves to be re-honed and the new piston size determined (104.5) and then order the custom pistons and then blah blah blah etc...FRUSTRATING doesn't begin to describe how I feel. I've been working on my philosophical thoughts a great deal.
Anyway the car felt amazing for the 4 days I was running it in (but so might a tricycle after 5 months ). The only performance figures I can give you are that I did a 1/4 mile time of a little over 13 sec's on the car when it was running about 19 psi on the old stock engine with no working lsd. I am expecting to be in the 11's if I go back to the drags. With the new mods it has been forecast to be doing 450hp at 1 bar. At 24 psi on race fuel, well let's wait and see?

Agree that LSD should be in all performance cars, once you get to 200bhp with 2 wheel drive , its basically 1 wheel drive without limited slip.
Just admiring the spec of your car, whats the mph / 1000 in top, and the 0 to 100mph time - brisk I imagine[8D]
Oh, - and with a LSD do the wheels turn the opposite direction to us over here compared to Oz[:D]

The MOT testers handbook says LSD equipped cars should not be tested on the rollers but on the road with a
G-meter - my MOT tester dug it out to show me, many are done on the rollers with no ill effects however.
