I must be getting old, I've only heard of two of the beat combos off that list. [8|]

With the weather at the moment, I would think a bit of F.E.A.R. by Ian Brown.

As for usual staple:-

Crowded House
Squeeze
Led Zep (or Robert's solo stuff)
Dave Lee Roth (the older stuff)
Marillion
Shawn Colvin
10cc
Supertramp
Fleetwood Mac

and alot more that I wouldn't like to admit to in public!!! Defo. no James Blunt though.

It seams that all who drive 944's are into their classic Rock music and as much as I have most of the songs you have suggested.
No one has selected the more modern bands like GREEN DAY, BLINK 182 and SUM 41, I think these are good driving albums too.

Papa Roach are rather good too...

This reads like an old bikers forum..........thought I had gone to the other side when I purchased my first Porsche, obviously not.

Why don't we all meet up in a field miles from anywhere, build a large fire, play loud music and get waisted? We could also kill the first Pratt who revs up their car at 7am (after you have just got your head down).

You've obviously not been at a PCGB National 944 Camping gathering if you think the above is unusual. [:D] We also have side show events including:-

Who can find the biggest log to burn.?

Who can blow their matress up the hardest (without it exploding)?

Create another verse to the RMS or BSB song on the hoof.

How many barbeques does it take to cook Ricks stake/slice of cow?

Who has lesbians hands?

Who can con the camp fire warden into thinking (a) The fire is under control (b) we are sufficiently sobber to do something about it if/when the fire sets light to most of the camp site (c) any of us really care.

As I understand there are scenic drives arranged at Nationals for those that would like to take part. I've not been in a fit state to partake yet.

Linkin Park

Most definitely. And a recent addition to my collection is Good Charlotte. 'Girls don't like boys, girls like cars & money'
Many a true word...
