oh definitely ... i this case, I didn't look well enough it has to be said, and i was prepared for some works. but in this case, the rear suspension will have to come out ... not an outright loss by any means, but beyond mine nevertheless.

anyway, lesson learned and more probing required next time .... as i say, i'm smitten by it, and I will have another one, as soon as the right one comes along

I also have a Merc 190e 2.6 which i am getting back to glory, and my daily driver is a 94 BMW 740i, so luckily i'm not stranded, but both are Auto boxes, which although fast enough, nowhere near as fun

There is normally always a reason that an old car is sold without a full 12 month MOT, otherwise the previous owner would have had one done before the sale.
