How much Des for the RSR engine?

If I was you I would buy a spare Phil as they can only go up in value!

Only the price of a new kitchen. ;o)

Indeed. Do you think they would take the kitchen (it is German) as trade-in [;)]

Dropped mine off for it's post-rebuild, 1500 mile service today and saw your car waiting patiently for it's heart back, Ian.

Any news on progress?

They are just starting to put the engine back together now - it's turning into a major job. As well as the head (sourced a used one, as they are £959+VAT new now), it's looking like new pistons and cylinders as well. The current ones are usable, but given the amount of track time the car does both GT One and 9M suggested replacing them. Generally keeping it standard, though there are some small mods in the interest of durability e.g. ARP rod bolts, titanium valve spring retainers.

Des, I have still got the tapes from Spa - which bits do you want? I can transfer it onto DVD at DVD quality.

Ian,
Sounds like exactly the spec that my engine has (including all the nice Ti bits) - just had mine rebuilt with new ps & cs. Leaves it safe to rev over 7,000 - are you putting MoTeC on too ? It's a big expense, but will allow you to get the maximum out of the rebuild (up to c. 340bhp !)

Jamie

Ian. I'll leave that fiver with Craig tomorrow (Saturday) when I pick mine up - it sounds like you're going to need it.[&:]
