Porsche 996 C4 (GT3 Body)

Delivered yesterday! Had a long drive in it... The grip is unbelievable! I used to own a 964 C2, and every time I went high speeds in it I was always worried about having to stand on the brakes, as the back end always wanted to slip out. Not in the 996..!

I'll snap some more photos when it stops raining...

Nice it's virtually identical to mine bar yours is 4 wheel drive, oh and I am not pretending it's a GT3 with that badge at the back lol Oh and yours is a tip I see, you need to get the PSE , sound is awesome. What county do you live in?

Lol how did you know its a tip?

And its great having that GT3 badge on the back... Everybody stares at it + they're like 'wow how much did that cost?' ... 'erm . . . . 50k' [:D]

My 'Check Engine' light has come on - when I gave it some toe it flashed, and now its constantly there. What does this mean?

Lambda sensor has gone out of range - usually because it's seen too much fuel in the exhaust. May be indicative of the MAF on the way out.

Same way I know it has PSM haha

People who know will know it's not a GT3, it's got a rear wiper for a start .

I am often near Kent, if you ever want to meet up let me know as mine is identical to yours, you can hear my exhaust and you will def want one :)

Has the PSM light been flashing when you give it some stick in a straight line? That's also an indicator of a MAF on it's way out to lunch.

Best bet is to get a diagnostic check done, but as you've only just got the car, take it back for them to look at.

Yeah one thing I noticed last night was that the PSM was off. Switched it back on but the light was glowing again this morning.

Its under a years warranty, so I've taken it back to the garage.
