I wanted to post some pics of my new motor - 993tt in grand prix white - partly for your delectation and partly to show off the good work of Glyn O'donnel again.

So here's the pics, freshly zymoled and detailed by Glyn O'donnel - well known on this forum I believe. Pictures don't do the car justice as usual.

Kenny,
You like white don't you! I was wondering when we'd get to see the new machine.

Any early impressions on how it drives vs the normal 993?

Yeah didn't rain rest of day on friday Glyn so had chance for a decent drive.

Mark - you've noticed eh? I love GP white on the 993, I didn't think I'd ever find a white TT in the UK then one turns up at my local specialist!

Effortless springs to mind - though as yet I've not done many miles. Still in awe really, what I was suprised at most was the chassis, so much more capable and sure footed than the 4S - I assume this is mainly down to condition of shocks?

May have a chance for a proper drive over the dales soon one early sunday morning so will report back.

oh and it's so stiff it shakes my teeth plus it's soooo. quiet - a mate called it the 'silent death' after a short go behind the wheel!

love it. [:D]

Kenny,

Great looking car, does Glyn O'Donnell do re-treatment on Leather seats? Do you have his number? The Bolster on my Boxster seats need doing soon.

If you are in Liverpool one sunday morning let me know, some nice country lines to get the heart racing!

Did you ever fit the CDR radio you bought off me ?

Dave Brooks

Hi Dave, good to hear from you - hope you are well.

Glyn does do full interior detailing too - including leather treatment and leather dying where required.

Glyn's number is 07930 949821

The colours on your lovely boxter should come up really well with Glyn's treatment.

Didn't fit the CDR to the 4S in the end, a week after we met I was at a PCGB event and saw a few other 4S's with exactly the same stereo as mine so I realised my wasn't non stadard after all! but it went to a good home, a friend has an early 996 and it went in nicely.

I'll reply to your email Dave and hopefully we can meet up again. Cheers.

Kenny,

Thanks for the number, just e:mailed you again but now realise you have given me his number through this thread.

Sorry to hound you mate.

Thanks

Dave Brooks

[:D][:D] - all enquiries by email please! [;)]

there's one wedding that she won't be attending, my own! - called off since the purchase.

Well well well Kenny,

Some poeple are never happy even when they have spent a small fortune msking their 4S beautiful.

I was in Strasse recently and Charlie said you were contemplating a TT. I thought he was joking! No I said, not Kenny, he had to sell the Golf because he couldn't justify keeping that and the 4S and besides, his better half would never allow it.

Ha ha ha. Charlie was right after all.

The car looks the biz mate. When are you going to bring it around. I have never felt the urge of a tt. You know where my office is - open invitation.

he he now then my friend, I was hoping to keep this from you until I had the cargraphics fitted - looks like I've just missed out, silencers fitting on friday!

As you can imagine have got so much to show and tell - was gonna turn up at your place uninvited!

Better half was suprisingly ok about it - I think I knows she got it for a song.

Will ring u next week Lee, take care. PS - dales dash this sunday, Alisdair etc... too short notice?

I am out on a works do getting lashed Saturday night so wont make Sunday morning even if my wife would let me, which she wouldn't given I had just left her on her own the night before.

Get that tt over to the office asap. I want to feel the tt surge!

Cargraphics exhaust too! Business must be good.

Will 408bhp do for now or will another trip to Wayne's be in order?

ORIGINAL: Sundeep

white... that must be trickly to keep clean !!

VERY sundeep, and looks sh*t when it's dirty. But stunning when clean - thanks to Glyn (see above). I love the rarity and I'm hoping by the time I sell (no plans) white could be back in fashion (thanks 997 gt3 [;)]).

Not sure how many GP white tt's in the UK.

BTW what does the 'routemaster' mean on your GT3?

Kenny,

Have you checked out Glynn's website? Pretty good. I think your car is in there.

I noticed mine as part of the banner and in the Favourites section and was pretty chuffed.

Glynn will get a call again next summer.

If you read this Glynn, thanks again.
