new 993 - pics

ORIGINAL: leesweeney

Kenny,

Have you checked out Glynn's website? Pretty good. I think your car is in there.

I noticed mine as part of the banner and in the Favourites section and was pretty chuffed.

Glynn will get a call again next summer.

If you read this Glynn, thanks again.

Yeah I've listed the address on this thread Lee, it's a good site isn't it. Apparently Glyn's adding a 'testimonials' section so I guess we'll be getting a call?

Saw your 'S' on there, stunning as ever - the top banner is excellent isn't it. Your 993 gonna be about and about much this winter?

I know they are the all weather supercars as you keep telling me, but I have an all weather BMW to use in err, all weather.

The 'S' will thus make a few special appearances when time and the clemency of said weather permits.

Just about to buy a dehumidifier actually so she keep rest in comfort during the long winter months.

I'll give you a shout when I next have a bit of free time but it will be January at the earliest now I am afraid. Family and espcially work are taking their toll on my freedom at present.

aah well Lee, you missed a fun run out the other Sunday [:D]

Kenny seemed to keep up reasonably well too [;)] [;)]

'fraid to say mine is in the Pistonheads classifieds now though ... the lure back to open top motoring is too great I'm afraid.

You are selling it 6 months too early. I desparately want a 3.2 Carrera which I will use with my brother for track and runs to Le Mans etc and your car would be perfect. Unfortunately the tax man wants a big lump of money from me in Jan so next summer is the earliest I can cosnider it. If we were in July 07, assuming the business gods had been good to me I would bite your hand off. It is certainly a great looking and very tidy car.

The asking price seems about right too.

Kenny told me the run was great. I imaigne in his 993 tt he didn't have too many problems keeping up. My problem is my right foot - it has a natural tendency all of its own to protect my licence!

I have a 993 C4 GP white, one owner, when I bought it no one wanted it because of colour. I love it its so different.
993 turbo in white - perfect.

Thanks Stephen! I think you're right - they'll start appreciated soon, let's start a campaign [;)]

any pics of yours? I love the narrow body in white.

Sorry no pics but it has RS side skirts and 18" RS look split rims, MO30 suspension and strut brace.

Up the whites.
