New 997 vs Used 997S

If only Monty. Still waiting I'm afraid, the car has a private plate on and as the OPC "gave me the nod" as soon as it came in the docs were only sent in a week yesterday so I'm in limbo until the DVLA finish opening all the letter bombs and get around to giving my car a new number. They won't even give you an update until they've had the papers 10 working days !!
Anyways the sun has come out so at least I can enjoy the Box a bit more until the paperwork arrives.

Thanks for the comments guys
Gone for the C2S, deposit down today on a 2005 car, black with black, nav, heated sports seats, sport chrono, 3,500 miles on the clock and just like new, significantly under my budget and much more significantly under the cost new. Should have it by the end of the week, will post some pics when I get chance, looking forward to the leap in performance from my 2.7 987, suprisingly only £150 increase in insurance for the year. Got a feeling it's going to be a long week, hope the weather improves as the car's never been out in the wet !!

So have you picked the car up yet - If so where re the picci's

Nice car Mick,
Notts OPC fitted the Porsche Sports Exhaust today, its made the excellent C2S now sound fantastic. I drove back home with radio off, sport selected and this wailing banshee followed me all the way superb!!
with the saving you made from going the used route I would seriously have a listen to a PSE equipped C2S. Other hot news is that if anyone wanted to go the aftermarket X51 route David at Notts OPC hinted that he would look at doing a deal.

Now where's the nearest long tunnel

Mick

Very nice car, good choice of colour!

Agree with Paul, PSE is a must, then of course you'll absolutely need the exra power........
