NEW 997

The coloured centre console does lift the interior and works well with the seatbelts on a Red car..[8D] Gladyou sorted the image sizes out and the car looks great.. I know what you mean about the upgrade [:)]

how did you find autobahn stuey?? am about to have xenons fitted at the parts dept any feedback appreciated cheers

Dyllan, I have no complaints with the service I have ever received from Autobahn or PCT (who will fit your xenons). They PCT guys are very good & know their stuff. I imagine that they will do a really good job. Let me know, as I am thinking of having reversing sensors fitted, so let me know how you get on.

thanks stuey will report back darren i am collecting the 993 immaculate pcgb pampered black beauty showroom condition from lancashire next week.as i mentioned elsewehere i couldnt wait for when the 3 eldest finish uni next summer before getting back into porsche ownership-but the 997 TT PDK i yearn will have to wait till after that time and will hopefully be a good partner in the garage for the classic air cooled 993.probably sometime 18 months away-that is the current plan anyway!! cheers

Dyllan, Sounds like an excellent plan a 993 and 997TT will partner very nicely - the problem you will have in 18 months is being on the brink of the next generation which you will surely wait for, (an extra few months saving time). The financial committment of kids is immense; at least yours are at Uni - mine are 8 and 3 and I looked after them last week whilst my wife worked; I took them camping for a few days, then to Alton Towers for a few days; cost a fortune!! I still don't know what to do with my car; my sensible head says to sell, but I just love it. 30K miles in two years. Issue is I sold my busines back in the spring and whilst I am in no hurry to return to work I have decided to go back into industry as opossed to my own business; this means that the Porsche can be a little circumspect. I have a job offer for a Oct start that comes with a new style 530d or E350 which i can spec however i want. Also I just bought my wife a new V70, hard to keep the Porsche but hard to let go. Anyway, I'll see how I feel after sumnmer hols!! Stuey, sorry to hijack your thread, your car is beautiful, I love the bright colours; mine in Ruby red and I have the centre console paited too - looks class. You will love the 997!
