All, Could you just confirm a couple of things regarding the steering wheel options please. 1: multifuntion wheel. if this is in conjunction with sports chrono do i get the PDK display at the top of the wheel that shows sport, sport plus and launch control when active. 2:paddles. If no display on paddles, does the dashboard display if launch control is active and is there a way to control phone functions if i take this wheel instead. Thanks, Paul

Paul, the multi function wheel with Sport Chrono Plus does not have any displays on the wheel itself - these appear on the dash (below the rev counter) The paddle wheel has displays on the horizontal spokes - left for Sport ans Sport+ and right side for Launch Control Active. There is nothing else on this wheel, The phone is controlled via the lower left stalk or via the touchscreen. The paddle wheel is also thicker than the multifunction wheel which I find nicer to grip![;)] If you look here and the following page you can see the Multifunction PDK wheel and the paddle wheel http://www.porsche.com/all/media/flash/tequipment/997_2nd/catalogue/en/index.htm#/44/

If you are ordering a new gen 2.2 you will get the new display on the wheel. Its very subtle. The wheel will also be black not silver/black, see my post "here she is" to see the new wheel

This thread http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=565454 That's neat - hadn't seen that wheel to date and didn't look closely enough at your photos - obviously! Still rather have paddles.........[;)]
