New Boots for the Cayman S

I think any car with a wide section tyre will be rubbish in the snow TBH. I see many cars struggling up here in the NE of Scotland, whereas my old Vectra with narrow tyres will go anywhere I need. If proper snow tyres were fitted with better tread patterns and a different type of rubber to help maintain grip in the colder conditions then you'd have a fighting shot in this weather. My preference is still the old clumker though, at least if I do get out of shape in it and land in a field with it, it's still a lot cheaper than getting a wee bit lairy in the CS and bending 1 panel. You just never know when it could happen.
 
A work colleage has brought her car from Germany and has winter tyres - she's having a good laugh at how crap we are in the snow!
