New C4S Collected

After four months of being 'Porscheless' collected my new C4S from Swindon on Saturday.

After being apprehensive about the colour combination when I ordered it, I love the final result...

Most importantly, if feels much faster than the previous C4S I had, the power being so immediate.. The PDK is great, fully mastered the buttons now..
I would not change any of it.. Only missing feature is the PSE... The new engine is too quiet... roll on May to get the PSE fitted...

Another stunner - congrats! PDK only gets better and better. You may have seen elsewhere that I had mine out on track for the first time over the weekend. The PDK is superb in auto or manual. I'm waiting for PSE too but waiting for a demonstrator locally to have a listen - next month hopefully!

Robert,

Your new car looks fantastic.

And welcome to the Gen2 4s PDK club too!!

As stated the PDK just gets better the more you use it!!

I too am waiting for the PSE when available, it needs something to sweeten up the exhaust note.

Have fun with your new toy.

Nige.

Robert two word to describe your car

"yum yum"

Great car - love the Red interior, had the Boxster Red on my first Porsche and loved it.

Hope to get a chance of a closer look at one of the upcoming drive and dines

Enjoy

What's that reflective jobby across the back? Please tell me that's not standard?
Yep, nearly always was on the C4S, they dropped it on the Gen 1 version of the 997 much to peoples annoyment, back on again now...
Easy way to spot the C4S [;)]

That's a great combination Robert - love the wheels with the yellow calipers. Agree with you that the engine feels very punchy, albeit still early days with mine.

Lovely looking car, Robert!! I'm guessing that the yellow callipers indicates that you've got PCCB...? The side detail looks fab too. If I ever get one I wouldn't mind seeing an example of green with details in black...

Adrian.

Hey Guys

Thanks for all the kind and positive comments about the car, much appreciated..
Just been out in the evening sunshine playing with the PDK [8D] God this thing is fast...
Cannot wait to get it in the Alps in the summer [:D]

Cheers

Thanks Adrian. Yes the car is fitted with PCCBs - Viper green with black details is a fantastic combo - seen it on a GT3 RS and Cayman S...

Hi Robert,

Great car, saw it the other day when I was in Swindon. Glad too that you followed my lead and specced side graphics [:D]
Tell me what your intial impressions of PCCB are. Do they squeal? [:)]
