New C4S Collected

Yes I can see that !!!![:D]

But I assume that PCCB are the same on a C4S as on a C2 and I am told by Porsche that all PCCB brakes squeal. I just want to know if that statement is true.

Hi Robert,

Great car, saw it the other day when I was in Swindon. Glad too that you followed my lead and specced side graphics [:D]
Tell me what your intial impressions of PCCB are. Do they squeal? [:)]

Hi Derek
Yeah I love the side decals, even if they are a bit 70's retro.. [:D] The PCCBs feel great, and so far, there has not been so much as a peep out of them... However, I have only done 300 miles so we will have to see - I certainly hope they don't squeal, had that problem on my SL500, drove me mad.. []

Congratulations Robert

Love the black decals - something Ive debated a few times myself. Im currently looking at upgrading to X51 but half wondering if I should haggle in a set of silver "Carrera S" decals in at the same time to go on my black aerokit Carrera S.

Does anybody have any pics of an aerokit C2/4S with appropriate decals on (by that I mean not GT3(RS) decals on to make them a look-a-like). Ideally in black with silver decals but any colour would do.

Here is my miserable attempt at merging a silver GT3RS decal onto a picture of my actual car. Im left cold with my attempt (perhaps due to the fact it says GT3RS which I would never put on) but hoping Carrera-S decals on the real thing might look nice???

Failing anybody having a genuine pic could anybody do a better attempt and p-shop some Carrera S decals onto the clean pic of my car below.

Adam,

Not normally a fan of decals and all that but judging from the P-S enhanced pitcure your car would look great with them on. You need to get the decals, you know you want to[8|]

Robert, I also thought that if I would go for a new one, white with red interior would be high on my list. Just out of curiosity... now when you already have this car for a while... isn't it to much of red? Would it make a positive difference to have dashboard, steering wheel and say upper parts of door covers in black?

Thanks for sharing

Andrew

hmmm not so sure now myself having reflected upon it all and making a more accurate pshop.

Am going to see the dealer this morning to look at real cost of change to a gen2 (depends on when aero is available) or maybe even a gen2 GT3 (if I can persuade myself to live without the rear seats).

So X51 and decals decision in on hold pending the outcode - mainly cost based decision I suspect.

I've now done nearly 10k road miles with PCCB's, and no squealing or any other noise whatsoever - apart from when I cooked the pads a bit on my only track day that is.

Hi Andrew

2000 miles in and still love the all red inside. You have to actually see it in the flesh so to speak - photos always make it look too bright...

Congratulations on the new car, great colour combination and I love the decal.
