Hi

If you see a white 987 running about Scarborough, Malton or York area, give me a wave
or if the weather's bad a pepper white mini cooper s - JTH404.

Rita and John wish everyone best wishes for the new year.

Would like to, just at the moment selling the house is top priority and if someone wants to view then they are first.

If you know Garrowby Hill, I'm quite close to that. We have some fantastic driving around there and no speed cameras!

Garrowby? That's towards Market Weighton area isn't it. Very near our dawn raid routes, which we just happen to be having the next one on Sunday 5th! We start off down near Goole and usually head into Lincs or into the Wolds and NY Moors.

We also usually have some pretty interesting transport... next Sunday we have a 996 Twin Turbo DMS (just shy of 600bhp), five TVRs, a Lotus, a Boxster S, an M3, a Supercharged 3.0 Z3, oh, and the first run out in anger in my 3.2 Carrera :)

You are more than welcome, although it is definitely not for the fainthearted! Set off at the crack of dawn, finish with breakfast a couple of hours later.

Thanks for the invite Burriana, sounds great. I'm working the next two Sunday's, but keep me in mind if you're up this way again. I work from home though, so you could call in for a cup of tea and I could drool over the cars!

I took my car out for an airing last Sunday, waved at six Porsches and not one waved back. And I thought, we folk in Yorkshire were sociable... []

Hi Tracey,

Here is the link to the Yorkshire forum on Pistonheads.com.

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?f=117&h=0

It's the WoldsWazz (not my idea but Dawn Raid was taken at that time!) thread.

We try to keep the runs to a max of 8-10 cars, but 5-6 is usually better and, we usually keep it off forum so as not to attract ride blaggers and people who we do not know, but as it is a quiet time of year we thought we would see how much interest there was. Quite a lot apparently!

Hello everyone,

Another new member here as well!

I live in the Peak District, just west of Sheffield

I got rid of my S2000 last September and got my 996 C2, using the excuse with the Missis that we needed a "family car" we could take our baby daughter in. Well, my daughter and I are well chuffed with it.

What time does the cat & fiddle run start?

Dean

10.30 to 11.00am meet at Porsche Centre Sheffield for a warming hot drink and a look at some 'clean' cars.

11.15am depart for the run via Buxton and Maccelsfield

Pit stop at the Cat & Fiddle pub for further 'warm' drinks.

Travel back to the Ladybower Inn for lunch at around 2.00 to 2.30pm.
